Our school is going for the Leading Parent Partnership Award. This award helps our school to work in partnership with all parents and carers. Increasing parental participation in school life leads to improved pupil progress, punctuality, attendance and behaviour.

The framework encourages parents to be involved in their children's learning leading to improved outcomes in all aspects of school life. Wish us luck!

“We said we would keep you updated on the RAAC situation in our schools. This is just to confirm that none of our historical surveys or the recent specially commissioned intrusive surveys have identified any RAAC in any HEARTS schools.

We hope that this reassures parents, staff, pupils and our community that our buildings are free of this material recently highlighted by national media as a concern.“

We have been made aware that some of our neighbours have raised concerns with the police and local authorities regarding parking during drop-off and pick-up times.

As a result, we want to inform you that there may be increased patrols in the area in the coming days and weeks. To help us maintain a positive relationship with our community and avoid any further complaints, please ensure that you are:

• Not blocking driveways or entrances
• Avoiding double parking or stopping in the middle of the road
• Using designated parking areas wherever possible
• Respecting all road signs and local parking rules

We understand that these times can be busy, but your cooperation is crucial to keeping everyone safe and maintaining a good relationship with our neighbours.
